Creating a SWMS

The SWMS creation process uses a wizard to help you identify hazards, determine High Risk Construction Work (HRCW), and assign appropriate controls.

When creating a new SWMS, you can provide context about the work in several ways:

  • Text/Chat: Describe the task and let the AI extract potential hazards.
  • Voice: Speak your description directly into the app using the microphone.
  • Vision: Upload a photo of the worksite. The AI will suggest possible hazards it can see in the frame — this is a non-exhaustive starting point, not a complete hazard scan, so you still need to review the site yourself and add anything the photo doesn’t show.

Once the hazards are identified, you must select the appropriate High Risk Construction Work categories.

The system validates that you have selected valid control types for each hazard:

  • Elimination
  • Substitution
  • Isolation
  • Engineering
  • Administrative
  • PPE

Based on your input, the AI provides intelligent suggestions for controls and hazards to ensure comprehensive safety coverage. You can accept or modify these suggestions within the editor.
