The Risk Assessments module allows you to systematically identify, evaluate, and control risks associated with your work activities.

Why this works this way

WHS Regulations require a systematic risk-management process (identify, assess, control, review) and the hierarchy of controls — always trying elimination and engineering controls before falling back to administrative measures and PPE. That’s why the assessment always separates initial risk from residual risk after controls, and why the AI is guided to suggest higher-order controls first.

Managing Risk Assessments

You can view a list of all your risk assessments from the main dashboard. This list shows the current status and key details of each assessment.

Version Control and Superseding

Risk assessments are living documents. When a risk assessment needs to be updated (e.g., due to a change in work scope or a new hazard being identified), you create a new version rather than overwriting the old one.

The system automatically manages these versions. Newer versions explicitly supersede older ones by referencing them as their parent. The list view intelligently filters out superseded versions, ensuring you only see the most current and relevant risk assessments.

AI Integration

Tradie Safety Hub utilizes AI to assist in the risk assessment process. When creating or reviewing an assessment, the AI can provide insights and suggest potential hazards or controls based on the context provided, helping to ensure a comprehensive evaluation.
